TEAS®V Information
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a four part, web-based, supervised assessment. It includes Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English language usage sections. The TEAS Test was developed by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) to predict the academic readiness of applicants prior to admission into a healthcare program. There are about 170 questions in total on the test.
The total testing time for all four test areas is 209 minutes, or 3 hours and 29 minutes. Most of the sections are timed to average 75 seconds per item. The amount of time allotted for each section is as follows:

Testing Policy

Students must bring a valid picture ID to be admitted into the testing LAB. Students will not be allowed to take the test without photo identification.
- Please arrive at the testing center 15 minutes before the test starting time.
- Calculators are not permitted at the testing site or during the test.
- Pencils and scrap paper will be provided and collected when the test is completed.
- Cell phones, IPods, pagers (and other electronic devices) and books, notes or study guides are prohibited from use during the test session. Any applicant using any of the above during the test session will be asked to leave the testing site immediately.

To be admitted to the testing center, individuals must present a valid photo ID as well as their ATI username and password. The allotted time for the test is 3.5 hours. Those arriving late will not be allowed to test. Individuals taking this test can only register for one location, one testing time. Each individual must purchase his or her own testing reservation. Calculators are NOT allowed. Scratch paper will be provided by the testing center. Children are not allowed in the testing center while the test is being conducted. Please check with your school for retake policy. Once this purchase has been made, there are NO REFUNDS. Testing space is limited. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your testing time.
